Members can now opt in for automatic renewal in 1 or 2 year increments (select in cart).  You will be notified in December each year when payment is due to be processed.  You can cancel automatic renewal anytime by contacting us at info@momediators.org

    Application for Website Listing (Included with Full Membership)

    As a public service to the citizens of the state of Missouri, the Association of Missouri Mediators maintains a website listing of mediators. Full members are eligible for a listing concurrent with the payment of dues (January 1, or date dues paid, through December 31). Your listing will remain on the website until March 30th next year unless you renew your membership.

    IMPORTANT: By submitting an application for a website listing you indicate your verification of and/or agreement with the following statements:
    • I have the number of hours (or more) of mediation training required for the categories I wish to include in my listing.
    • I will abide by the AMM Standards of Mediator Conduct.
    • I agree to cooperate with the AMM complaint resolution program.
    • I agree to resolve any dispute I might have with AMM, its directors or employees through mediation.
    • I hold a full membership in good standing (current year dues are paid); and I am responsible for the accuracy of my statements and agree to hold AMM, its directors, and employees harmless for any and all claims asserted against them as a result of any representation made on this application.

    Members applying for a website listing are encouraged to obtain professional liability insurance. AMM also encourages mediators to engage in continuing education annually to enhance their knowledge and skills in mediation.  Note that AMM provides this website listing as a service to  the public and to its members. AMM does not screen or certify the mediators listed and listing on the website should not be represented as an endorsement or recommendation.  Referrals may or may not occur.

    Website Listing Details (for new or updated listings)

    You may designate a maximum of FOUR categories of mediation offered.  Please make your selection by checking the boxes below (if you select more, only the first 4 will be listed)
     
    Minimum training requirements for each category are listed by MO Supreme Court rules.
    • Rule 17 requires 16 hours of formal mediation training
    • Rule 88 requires 20 hours of domestic mediation training

    The following types of mediation are specified (select by using the check boxes below):
    • Business Mediation – contract, partnership, account, supplier disputes, etc. Rule 17
    • Community Mediation – neighborhood disputes, restorative justice, etc. Rule 17
    • Construction Mediation - building, remodeling, repair disputes, etc. Rule 17
    • Consumer Mediation – retail complaints, warranty, account and credit disputes, etc. Rule 17
    • Education Mediation – school relations, special education, staff and student, peer disputes, etc. Rule 17
    • Elder Mediation – elder care, end of life, and estate planning disputes, etc. Rule 17
    • Family Mediation – divorce, custody, parenting issues, separation, parent- adolescent, permanency planning, child support and property distribution, etc. Rule 88
    • Personal Injury Mediation – automobile accidents, premises liability, assaults and other civil claims for injuries and damages, etc. Rule 17
    • Workplace Mediation –  employee-management disputes, discrimination, personnel policy disputes, etc. Rule 17
    DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT You may include a statement of up to 75 to inform consumers of mediation about your philosophy of disputes resolution and information about your mediation services. (We recommend that you refer consumers to your website or other methods for obtaining detailed information on your credentials and experience.)
